Twyla Garrett is an esteemed entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and proponent of diversity and inclusion. Born in Ohio and now residing between Washington, D.C., and Raleigh, North Carolina, Twyla has forged a dynamic career across various sectors. She earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Ursuline College and a master's degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.

Embarking on her entrepreneurial path in 1996 with a bookkeeping service, Twyla later established and sold IME, a successful Homeland Security Management Consulting firm, in 2016. She founded Growth Management Services (GMS), a Construction Program Management Firm, and Integrated Responders Group (IRG), a Full Services Independent Claims Management Firm. Renowned for her self-funded business ventures, Twyla is committed to creating opportunities for those overcoming personal and societal obstacles.

As a motivational speaker, Twyla has addressed The White House on job creation, economic growth, and other pivotal topics. She is dedicated to aiding individuals in becoming significant contributors to society and has written several books, including "My Mother’s Words," which inspires readers to transform life's challenges into victories.
